Liam Evans-Ford of Pilot Theatre (and late of YMP2012) has just posted this via twitter. Looks really interesting.

Documentary Writing for Theatre
We would like to invite writers to join us for a new writing opportunity as part of the Blood and Chocolate project in 2013.
As part of the project we have teamed up with the University of York and the Script Yorkshire York Branch to try and bring out the stories of the many people who have worked as part of the chocolate making industry within the City from the arrival of the Cocoa Bean during 1725 - right up to the modern day.
We are offering a free eight week course for writers to learn and explore the style of documentary playwriting for theatre. The sessions will take place every Tuesday through February and March 2013. The course will be introduced by Dr Tom Cantrell, who is currently writing his third published book on this style of theatre, and will include workshops with Katie Posner of Pilot Theatre, playwright Jessica Fisher and Liam Evans - Ford who is producer on the project.
Following the 8 week process we will look at asking a maximum of 6 writers to work with Tom Cantrell, Katie Posner, Pilot Theatre and a number of writers and performers from York University, to produce an evening of verbatim theatre to be performed during June 2013 at a 'non-theatrical' venue within the City (yet to be decided).
This section of the project will require the chosen writers to commit another evening a week during April and May towards the collective writing of the final production before the rehearsal period which begins during the week of 3rd of June. The performances will take place during the week of 24th June and the writers will be encouraged and welcome at all stages of the process.
If you are interested in signing up for this opportunity, whatever your previous experience, then please email here.
Whilst this opportunity is an open offer we will of course have to restrict numbers to an extent. This will be done on a 'first come, first served' policy.
This is a wonderful opportunity for playwrights of all levels of experience, not only to learn about a specific discipline relating to verbatim and documentary theatre, but also as an opportunity to tell the stories of the thousands and thousands of people, both living and deceased, who have been part of the chocolate making industry within the City of York.
Course dates
Sessions will begin at 7.30pm
February 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th,
March 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th
